The idea of strictly minding our own business is moldy rubbish.  Who could be so selfish?

Health Care Reform: What’s Your Opinion on the “Trigger Plan” Proposed Today ?

On the Sunday morning talk shows, the White House floated the idea of possible triggers which would enact a public option if not met after 4-5 years.  The thought, as I understand it, would be to set certain measurable criteria over the next few years.  If the measures weren’t made and changes not made a public option would be put in place.  At this time we don’t know what the expected changes would be or how they would be objectively measured but I’m interesting in hearing what your initial response to the idea is.  Let’s hear it!

All opinions welcomed.
