As long as Palin keeps wearing short skirts and manages her weight do you think her supporters really care if she wrote her talking points on her hand? Those that paid money to hear her peculiar style of prose knew they weren’t getting Einstein when they paid $500 a head to attend.

So many of us define ourselves by what we have, what we wear, what kind of house we live in and what kind of car we drive …. If you think of yourself as the woman in the Cartier watch and the Hermes scarf, a house fire will destroy not only your possessions but your self.

Reach out to your Congressional Representative and voice your views on Health Care Reform. No one should die because they cannot afford health care, and no one should go broke because they get sick. If you agree, tell Congress, tell your friends and tell the world.

Ted Kennedy, a man who has known great joy and deep sorrow all while admirably serving our country for 47 years has died today. May his life serve as an example to all of us. And may his ability to reach across political and economic barriers serve as an example to us as we tackle what he called the cause of his life – health care.
God bless you Ted Kennedy, you are my hero.

Mark Sanford: Cheating SC Gov Says God Will Make Him Better
In what seems like a never ending string of pleas for forgiveness, SC Gov Sanford wrote a piece for the Op/Ed section of yesterday’s paper . In it he says that “God will make him better.”
Governor Sanford, I have no doubt God will make you better. I also have no doubt that God will forgive you of your sins and help you to see the errors of your way.
Does your confession make you more fit to govern the state of South Carolina? NO. Mr Sanford, in my opinion you’re still a liar and a cheat . A man who may have stolen state money to finance his extramarital affair with his Argentine Soul Mate. You have diverted attention and resources from the job your state elected you to do and you’ve wasted precious capital on a subject not on the state’s agenda but on your personal agenda. The people of the State of South Carolina deserve better and in my opinion so does your wife Jenny.

So great has been the endurance, so incredible the achievement, that as long as the sun keeps a set course in heaven, it would be foolish to despair of the human ace.
