As I write this post CNN and the Huffington Post are reporting that General Stanley McChrystal has offered to resign due to the controversy surrounding his interview with Rolling Stone magazine. McChrystal is the commander of US and N.A.T.O. troops in Afganistan and he has been under fire since news of the interview broke.

Above is a link to the entire Rolling Stone article with will hit newsstands Friday, June 25th. In the piece General McChrystal takes shots at President Obama (his Boss),Vice President Biden, as well as US diplomats. While this type of trash talking may play well in the trenches, it doesn’t play well in Washington.
